1. Who controls your data
rules.city is operated by Docs Printing SRL, the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What we collect
You can browse rules.city without an account. In that case we process only:
- Technical access data β IP address, time of request, page requested, browser and operating system. Standard server logging, needed to serve the site and defend it against abuse.
- Usage data β which pages you visit, in aggregate, via Google Analytics.
- Advertising cookies placed by Google β see section 4.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we additionally store the data Google returns to us: your email address, display name, profile picture URL and Google's stable account identifier, plus the time you were last seen. We use it to keep you signed in and to attribute the ratings, likes and forum contributions you post. We never receive your Google password.

4. Advertising and third-party cookies
rules.city shows ads served by Google AdSense. This means:
- Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's advertising cookie enables it to serve personalised ads based on browsing history.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of third-party vendor advertising cookies at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.com.
- How Google uses data from this site is described in Google's policy for partner sites.
Ads are not shown on pages for which no data has been collected yet.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. The following providers process data on our behalf, or as independent controllers simply because the page loads:
- Cloudflare, Inc. β hosting, edge delivery and protection; processes your IP address. The site and its database run on Cloudflare's network.
- Google Ireland Ltd. β AdSense (advertising), Analytics (statistics) and Sign-In (authentication).
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area, on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Note on how pages are built: our pipeline reads public official sources and processes them through a language model to translate and structure them. That pipeline handles published institutional information, not visitor data β nothing you do on this site is sent to it.
6. How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for a maximum of 30 days. Google Analytics data is retained according to the service's settings, at most 14 months. Account data is kept for as long as the account exists; delete your account and we remove it, except where a legal obligation requires otherwise.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these, write to admin@rules.city. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the ANSPDCP (Romanian Data Protection Authority).
8. Cookies
You can manage your consent choices at any time through the consent banner shown on your first visit. Any browser also lets you block or delete cookies in its settings; blocking third-party cookies does not break the site, it only stops ad personalisation.
9. Children
rules.city is aimed at a general audience and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when the services we use or the legal requirements change. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page.
